LINDA L. FRANKE
Ms. Franke, originally from Madison Lake, Minnesota, moved to Kansas
City, Missouri in 1977. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Administration
of Justice in 1981 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While there she
was awarded with the University of Missouri Curator's Award and the College of Arts
& Science Outstanding Achievement Award. In 1984, she graduated from the University
of Missouri School of Law with the American Jurisprudence Award. Following graduation
from law school, Ms. Franke was a civil trial attorney for the Missouri Attorney
General. She was a litigation manager for workers' compensation claims for Cigna
Insurance as well as Gulf Insurance. In 1988, Ms. Franke began working with Fireman's
Fund Insurance Company. While there she has been the recipient of several Fireman's
Fund Insurance Company National Special Recognition Awards as well as the Fireman's
Fund Insurance Company National Chairman's Award. Since that time, she has practiced
exclusively in Missouri workers' compensation. In 1995, Ms. Franke obtained a CPCU
(Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter) Designation, one of the highest designations
in the insurance industry. She is listed in Who's Who in American Law. She has also
authored a chapter of the Missouri Workers' Compensation Deskbook and been a speaker
at workers' compensation seminars. She is licensed to practice law in the state
of Missouri. Ms. Franke is currently "Of Counsel" to the law firm of FOX STRETZ
& QUINN, P.C., where she continues her emphasis in the defense of workers' compensation.
