STEVEN J. QUINN

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Steve Quinn obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1980 and was awarded his Juris Doctor from Mizzou in 1983. Upon graduation, Steve joined the firm of Sherman, Wickens, Lysaught & Speck where he practiced extensively in the defense of products liability litigation and handled all aspects of Workers’ Compensation defense files.

Steve Quinn joined the firm of Merrick, Baker, Fox, Hufft & Strauss in 1988, where he continued to engage in those disciplines.Since the formation of Stretz/Quinn, in 1993, Steve has continued representation of defense interests in Workers’ Compensation litigation.

He has served as both the chair and the vice-chair of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Committee on several occasions.He has also served as Chair of the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers (MODL) Workers’ Compensation Legislative Committee. He has lectured and written frequently in the area of Workers’ Compensation law and the use of technology in the practice of Workers’ Compensation. Steve Quinn is admitted to practice before all Missouri and Kansas State Courts.
